SVP Christmas Fundraising Appeal

SVP Christmas Fundraising Appeal

SVP Christmas Fundraising Appeal
St Mary’s conference, Tallaght
Giving Sunday –  2nd Sunday of Advent :  11-12 December 2021

As outlined in the SVP Appeal last year, the demand for the services of the St Vincent de Paul Society has been growing exponentially over recent years. Whereas we had all hoped that the devastating impact of Covid would have diminished by now, we find an even worsening situation as the increasing cost of high rents and utility services is causing considerable hardship for so many families in our area.

With regret the St Vincent de Paul Society are asking you once again this year to refrain from the traditional gifts of food and toys which in the past were always so much appreciated, and instead the Society asks you to make a cash or voucher donation.

The following are a number of options for those wishing to donate:

  1. Donations specifically to the local conference of St Vincent de Paul through online banking can be made by using the following the account details:
Account Name:   St Mary Conference, St Vincent de Paul
    IBAN                  IE13aibk93331713473020
    BIC                     aibkie2d
  2. Donations can be made through the SVP website using the link  svp.ie/donate  and directing the donation by typing St Mary’s Conference, Tallaght into the “Specific Location to Help” box.
  1. Another option is to donate by calling 0818 176 176, a safe and secure telephone line of SVP.
  1. The SVP blue envelopes will also be made available in the church on the weekend of 11-12 December, and arrangements will be made for a local Conference member to attend each Mass on that weekend to collect the envelopes.
