Our parish is beginning what has been called a ‘listening exercise’.
Pope Francis has revived an ancient tradition in the Church — the practice of listening respectfully to one another and to the voice of God speaking through each other.
Here in St Mary’s, we are now beginning this journey of listening. After all Masses on Sunday, 23rd November, a questionnaire was distributed to parishioners. You will find the same questionnaire below. We invite you to download it, read it, print it and share your reflections by completing the questions and comment sections.
This questionnaire is the first step in a wider parish ‘listening process’. We ask you to return the completed form by placing it in the box marked PARISH QUESTIONNAIRE, which will be available in the church from next weekend.
Your responses will help the Parish Pastoral Council prepare for the next stage of the process — a Parish Assembly to be held in early 2026.
