Priory Homeless Fund Collection after all Masses this Sunday, 29th October 2019. The Collectors will be positioned at the back of the Church near St. Martin’s Shrine. All monies raised will be shared between Focus Ireland, the Peter Mc Verry Trust and the St. Vincent de Paul.
The problem o people begging near the main door of the church was discussed at length at the last meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council in the presence of two of our Community Guards. There was a consensus that we should again appeal to members of our Congregation who have been giving money to people begging in the vicinity of the Church to please refrain from doing so.
