FIRST COMMUNIONS 2015

Congratulations to the boys and gilrs who made their First Communion here yesterday.

A special ‘thank you’ to their parents, teachers (Ms Meaney and Ms Broderick), Sr. Noelle and all who helped with the First Communion programme.

PARISH ACTIVITIES IN THE NEAR FUTURE:

MASS OF ALL NATIONS. Pentecost Sunday (24th May) at 11.15am. We invite you to wear your traditional Native Costume for this Annual celebration of the diversity and richness of culture in our midst. Readings and Music of different cultures will be used.

“POWERED BY THE SPIRIT” A junior Faithfest to take place in the Priory Church on Friday 12th June – 6.00-9.00pm. Organised by the “Youth Focus” team in the Diocese in conjunction with Bishop Eamonn Walsh’s area Youth Ministry Team. An evening of celebration, worskhops, prayer, music and fun for sisxth class students of the area.

CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION. Sunday 7th June at 3.30pm in the Priory and Gardens. We will welcome people from neighbouring parishes.

PARISH CAKE SALE week-end 20th – 21st June. Offers of help to bake.

HELPERS NEEDED

We need your help with all of these activites. Contact Priory office, Tel. 4048100 or any of the Parish Team, if you are willing to help with any of these events e.g, planning, setting up, refreshments, stewarding etc.

MISSION APPEAL

Sr. Bride of the Little Sisters of the Assumption will speak at Mass Today about their work especially in S. America. She will welcome any financial offerings for their work.

VISITATION OF THE SICK

If there is someone you would like us to visit in Hospital or at home, please let us know. Priory Office 01 4048100.

NATIONAL ECUMENICAL BIBLE WEEK

25th, 26th, 27th May, 8.00pm-9.30pm at Ballycragh Church, Tallaght.:

  • Mon, 25th May: Marriage in the Bible
  • Tues, 26th May: Film in the Bible
  • Wed, 27th May: Opening the Bible

Each night will include a scripture reading, and time for queston and answer. An important feature of these evenings is that they will give us the opportunity to unite around the word of God as the great treasure we shere in common.
