VOCATION SUNDAY – 26th April
The collection for the supportof students for the priesthood for our diocese takes place Today and replaces the Share Collecton.
We currently have ten students studying for the priesthood in our diocese. We have seven studying in Maynooth and three in the Irish Collego in Rome. On the 3rd June the Archbishop will ordain Chris Derwin and Paul Glennon to the priesthood. Fr. Seamus McEntee who was ordained last summer has been appointed by the Archbishop to the Vocations office along with working in the Clondalkin parishes. Last year we had two new candidates for seminary. Presently we are workin with a number of men who hope to join in August 2015

CHILD SAFEGUARDING DAY
Sunday, 3 May 2015 is Diocesan Safeguarding Day. It is the second time that we have had such an event.
This is one of a number of ways in which we highlight how the diocese and its parishes is working to ensure that we provide safe and nurturig environments for children.
