ALL SOULS DAY (1.11)
Monday, 2nd November is All Souls Day. We honour the memory of our dead and pray “that they may be loosed from their sins”.
NOVEMBER ALTAR LIST OF THE DEAD
Envelopes and Lists available at the back of the Church for our Annual Novena of Masses to be offered during the month of November.
ANNUAL MASS OF REMEBRANCE
Our Annual Mass of remembrance for our loved ones who have died during the past year will be offered on Wednesday 11th November at 8.00pm
JUBILEE 800
2016 will be a special year for the entire Dominican Family, as during it, we will be celebrating the 800th Anniversary of the founding of the Order of Friars Preachers. There will be a special Mass in this Church next Saturday evening (7th Nov) at 7.30pm to mark the beginning of our Jubilee Year. Music and singing will be provided by The Now & Then Production Company. We encourage as many of you as possible to attend.
PRIORY CHOIR
Will sing at 11.15am Mass on Sun 1st and Sun 8th November
ASSUMPTION SECONDARY SCHOOL
Mass for all past pupils and of the Assumption Secondary School on 3 Nov at 7.00pm in Walkinstown Church.
FIRST FRIDAY
Friday, 6th November, is a First Friday. Holy Communion will be brought to the sick and housebound of the parish. If you know of somebody that you think should be on our list and may not be, please let us know.
REFUGEE CRISIS
On Tuesday next 3rd November, St Dominic’s are holding an information meeting about Refugee, Asylum seekers etc in their church at 7.30. There will be numerous speakers to explain about them, and to talk about welcoming those coming into our country. All interested in this are welcome to attend.
