LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR OF THE PRIORY INSTITUTE:

Dear Friend,

Greetings from all of us here at the Priory Institute. I am writing to you to direct your attention to how the Priory Institute courses and programmes help meet the ever growing need for theologically well-educated clergy and laity in Ireland

The Priory Institute is focused on providing solid, high-quality, affordable theological education by distance learning. Our dedicated lecturers and tutors lead the students as they develop the theological skills and experience needed to face the Ireland of tomorrow.

In addition to our distance learning programme, we are offering several introductory theology modules in a classroom setting here in Tallaght, for students who prefer the traditional lecture system. The modules being offered in the Autumn include “Theology” and “Spirituality and the Moral Life”. Futher information about this option can be found on our website (www.prioryinstitute.ie).

All of this should lead to the availability in this country of a pool of qualified lay people, who are able and willing to serve in pastoral care setting and become more active members of the Church.

For those who are interested, we will also be offering a series of evening / Saturday discussions and an online summer school programme in the coming months. Please invite your colleagues/ friends to join us at hese events, either online or here at the Institute. I invite you to visit our website for further information.

With every good wish,

John Littleton

Director
