At the meeting of The Parish Pastoral Council of St. Mary’s Parish on 27th of October 2011 Mr Brendan Prendergast was appointed Chairman of the Council. He succeeds Mr. John Sewell who has been a very active Chairman of the Council since its inception. We are indebted to John for his great loyal and generous service to the Parish in his position as chairman. Indeed many of the members of the Council have given long years of service to the people and priests of the Parish. Over the next few weeks we will be inviting new nominations to the Pastoral Council.
