Enrolment for First Communion 2025

Enrolment for First Communion 2025

by Robert Regula / Wednesday, 02 October 2024 / Published in First Communion

Dear Parents / Guardians,
The First Communion for the children from St. Mary’s National School will take place this year in two groups on 4th and 11th May 2025.
Now, we’d like you to enrol your child for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. So we invite you along with your child to decide if your child would like to receive these Sacraments.
When you brought your child for Baptism you initiated the process of forming your child as a follower of Jesus. This process is now approaching a landmark moment with participation in the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
We hope that thanks to your care and involvement and thanks to the work of the teachers, your child will be well prepared for the First Confession and First Communion. Your involvement is extraordinarily important.
Please fill out the form below.

IMPORTANT:

If your child was baptized in St. Mary’s Church, Tallaght Village – you do not need to supply a Baptism Certificate.

If your child was baptized in any other Church, please email a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate to parish@stmarys-tallaght.ie or drop a copy into the Parish office.

Proof of baptism in the Roman Catholic Church is a requirement in order to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion
