Details about the event:

The Dominican Day for Choirs, Cantors & Musicians will be led by two members of the Polish Dominican Liturgical Centre in Poland, and an Irish friar who teaches liturgy in Rome. Fr Łukasz Miśko is the director of the centre, and has lived in the USA for several years, working in university chaplaincy. Ms Grace Feltoe is Australo-Maltese, a soprano and founder of the Musica Sacra project, and works with the Polish Dominicans especially in their English language workshops in England and Poland itself. Fergus Ryan has been teaching at the Pontifical Liturgical Institute in Rome since 2016.

The Dominican Day’s workshops will be held on the grounds of Newbridge College, County Kildare, readily accessible from the M7 (exits 10 and 12) and by train (Dublin Heuston – Cork line). There is ample parking, and the school with public church provides spaces for rehearsal and the optional Mass in the evening. A three-course meal (including vegetarian option) in the middle of the day is included in the cost of attending the course. A new hymnal will be launched during the day, but purchasing it is entirely optional.

Have a look at a very similar event that was hosted by our friars in Krakow.
