Priory Institute invites for On-line Advent Retreat

Starts: 12:00am, Sunday, December 3rd, 2017
Ends: 11:45pm, Thursday, December 21st, 2017
Location: Online

This December we are offering a five-day online Advent retreat for those interested in thinking more deeply about Christmas. The retreat is very flexible as it is delivered entirely online and is available to start on Sunday the 3rd, 10th and 17th December. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to register.

Revd John Littleton

A priest of the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly, has worked at the Priory Institute since 2002, initially as Head of Distance Education and, since 2011, Director. Previously, he taught theology, religious studies, liturgical studies and adult religious education in various seminaries, colleges, institutes and dioceses in Ireland and the UK. In addition to his academic work, John has worked in several parishes and other pastoral settings. He is a well-known preacher and retreat director. He provides in-service courses for priests and is frequently a guest contributor on religious topics to local and national radio programmes and to national television programmes.

Schedule

1st Reflection:  Advent is about waiting 

2nd Reflection: Advent is about listening and seeing

3rd Reflection: Advent is about patience, hope and being awake

4th Reflection: Advent People -John the Baptist

5th Reflection: Advent People – Mary and Joseph

Dates

The same retreat will begin on Sunday the 3rd, 10th and 17th December and continue over the following five days.

Registration must be complete two working days before your selected start i.e.  29th Nov, 6th and 13th December.

Course Delivery

This Advent retreat is offered entirely online, you can attend one video reflection per  day.  Reflections are available cumulatively as the retreat progresses.
