WALK OF COMPASSION

We are inviting you to join us in the Walk of Compassion in Tallaght Village on Good Friday, March 30th, 6.30-7.30pm. We want to show solidarity with the members of our community who at this time are going through difficulties and need support from our caring services.

Among the many individuals and families that these services reach out to are:

  • Older people particularly those in need of care, those bereaved by suicide and women needing refuge and shelter,
  • Seriously ill children and their families, people with mental health difficulties, homeless people and families, women with crisis pregnancies and foster families and children
  • People with intellectual disabilities and their families, autistic children and their families, people suffering from cancer and their families, people with sight impairment and their families, migrant families, vulnerable people and their families.

Route of the Walk:

Beginning at the Priory grounds (1) opposite Focus Ireland at 6.30 pm, walking together to the Dance Monument (2) . From here we walk into Molloy’s car park (3) and from there to the Community Monument (4) at the traffic lights.  Our final stop will be the Courtyard of St Maelruain’s Church (5).

The event is open to everyone, of all faiths and none.  All Welcome.
