2 Masses to be discontinued: Sat 7.30pm Vigil; and Sunday 12.30pm
New schedule: 8.00am; 9.00am (Irish) 10.00am (Family) 11.30am and 6.00pm

Pastoral Challenges of the Family
Please see on the link below, a paper from the Synod of Bishops, regarding the meeting of the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops due to be held in Rome, 5th-19th October 2014 on the theme Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the Context of Evangelisation.
The Secretariat has asked that the Document be shared immediately as widely as possible to deaneries and parishes so that input from local sources can be received regarding the themes and responses to the questionnaire. Any discussion feedback or proposals should be e-mailed to communications@dublindiocese.ie (Copies of this document are available on request at Priory Office)

Diocesan food appeal for Crosscare
(Diocesan Social Services run a Food Bank for distribution to the needy.)
Last week Archbishop Martin launched a Diocesan-Crosscare Food Appeal for non-perishable food and hygiene products, to run over the four Sundays of Advent. See POsters on Church Noticeboards. Items can be left in the sacristy on Sunday or at the Priory Office during the week.
TREE OF LOVE
On 1st Dec there will be a Christmas Tree in the church. It is not a regular tree, but a Tree of love decorated not with Christmas decorations, but with the needs of adults and children. Printed on gift tags these needs decorate our tree. To give this tree meaning we ask that everyone come and help undecorated the tree by taking a gift tag. After buing the gift requested on the gift tag, we ask you to place it under the Christmas tree with the tag attached. Please return all gifts on or before Sun 15th Dec.
