I am writing to you to direct your attention to how the Priory Institute courses and programmes help meet the ever growing need for theologically well-educated clergy and laity in Ireland<\/p>\n The Priory Institute is focused on providing solid, high-quality, affordable theological education by distance learning<\/b>. Our dedicated lecturers and tutors lead the students as they develop the theological skills and experience needed to face the Ireland of tomorrow.<\/p>\n In addition to our distance learning programme, we are offering several introductory theology modules in a classroom setting <\/b>here in Tallaght, for students who prefer the traditional lecture system. The modules being offered in the Autumn include \u201cTheology\u201d and \u201cSpirituality and the Moral Life\u201d. Futher information about this option can be found on our website (www.prioryinstitute.ie).<\/p>\n All of this should lead to the availability in this country of a pool of qualified lay people<\/b>, who are able and willing to serve in pastoral care setting and become more active members of the Church<\/b>.<\/p>\n For those who are interested, we will also be offering a series of evening \/ Saturday discussions and an online summer school programme in the coming months.
