FIRST FRIDAY
Next Friday 7th Nov. Holy Communion will be brought to the sick and housebound of the Parish. Let us know if you wish to be receive a visit.
REQUEST
If you know of any elderly parishioners who would like to attend mass but are unable to due to mobility issues please offer them a lift and do a good deed for the community. St. Mary‘s Dominican‘s would love to see them back on Sunday
PRIORY INSTITUTE GRADUATION CEREMONY
The Annual Graduation Ceremony will take place in the Priory on Sat next 8th Nov at 2.00pm
HAVE PASS WILL TRAVEL ACTIVE RETIREMENT CLUB
The 50th our outing will take place on Thu 6th November (please note the change of day). We will meet at the bus stop opposite Fanagan‘s Funeral Home at 9.45 (27 bus)
We will visit the House of Lords which is in the Bank of Ireland in College Green and the Freemason‘s Hall, the home of The Grand Lodge of Ireland. In December we plan on holding a Christmas get together in The Plaza Hotel. Contact: Vincent – 087 1232234 or Eilish – 087 6484136.
DIOCESAN PASTORAL WORKSHOPS
The Annual Diocesan Pastoral Workshops will take place on Sat 15th Nov at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel.These workshops are open to all. Full details are avilable on the Parish Noticeboard in the Church Porch.
DOES YOUR SPOUSE HAVE DEMENTIA?
The NEIL Memory Research Unit at Trinity College is carring out research looking to gain an insight into the health and wellbeing of those who live with someone who has dementia. For more information about taking part please contact Alan Gavin or Dr Maria Pertl at Trinity College on 01 896 8414.
TALLAGHT LIONS – TABLE QUIZ
Tallaght Lions are holding a Table Quiz in Molloy‘s Pub on Thu 13th Nov at 8pm.
Raised funds – for our ongoing project : Message in a Bottle, Diabetes Screening, Food Appeals etc. The charge is €10 per person with a maximum number of 4 people per team. All are welcome.
FUNDRAISER IN AID OF GIANNA CARE
Fri 7th Nov 7.30pm till late, in Na Fianna GAA Club, Glasnevin, D11. Tickets €10, free food, live band, raffle great prizes. 38 babies and mammies saved since January.
ICTUS MOVEMENT
Catholics are invited to take part in Mass and Holy Communion on the 1st Friday of each month and to abstain from meat for the protection of human life at all its stages. For more information see small card at the back of the church.
