SHARE SUNDAY
Today is SHARE SUNDAY Copies of the Annual SHARE Accounts at the back of the Church.
“Almost 40 years ago the Diocesan Development Fund was lanuched to address the needs of the Church of that time: ..it enabled Churches to be built in newly developing areas, becoming true focal points of community and have remained so since.
Today we are called to continue to share resources; the Diocesan Offices provides services to support parishes in child safeguarding, human resources, education, schools , youth apostolates, and financial administration, as well as training priests and lay pastoral workers. SHARE provides the financial support for all these services and to meet the challenges of changing times..”
Excerpt from Archbishop Dermot Martin’s letter in which he says ‘Thank you’ for your continued loyal support for the weekly SHARE collection.
